Ok, this has to be my favorite painting I did in my still life painting class. I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. Yes, there are some mistakes, which I would love critique on, but yeah.
We had to paint a still life that had ceramic and glass in it and surprisingly enough I had fun with it :). I was surprised that I liked painting glass and ceramic, because I really don't like drawing them xD. We had to do an umber underpainting and then glaze or wash color over that. This probably was my favorite process. I had a lot of fun with (probably because it reminded me of watercolor d; ) and I got my best product out of it, so yeah :D. I got REALLY lucky with finding objects at the thrift store. They just seemed to go perfectly together. Not to mention they fit the color scheme perfectly. The color scheme was blue green, red orange, green, and yellow green. The only thing I brought from home in this still life was the dog.
I really loved how I could put together a story and mood with this still life almost as soon as I figured out what objects I was using :). It was a lot of fun. Also why do I seem to get orange objects into everything I paint >>;;?? I really dislike painting orange...
The more critique the better on this. Even though this is my best painting so far, I still need a lot of help, so yeah. Enjoy.

You really fooled me there! I thought that it was a photo at first glance! It took me like few moments to realize it that it was a painting, and I was sure of it after I read your description! Really well made! I would totally want to have it!
